The Wool Company began in 1983 as a local source for carded wool and handspun yarn. Over the years we have expanded, thus adding new avenues for our customers to explore. We now carry a wide variety of commercial yarns, fibers, weaving supplies, books, needles and accessories. It is our dedication and love for the traditional fiber arts that has made us the oldest and largest coastal yarn shop in Oregon.
While looking through our web site, please remember that it contains only a small sample of the yarns and products we carry. A complete list of our yarns is available for those interested. Of course it's not like being able to come in and experience the color and texture in person. So for an even more inspiring adventure, be sure to plan a trip to Bandon with a visit to The Wool Company on the top of your "To Do" list. You won't be disappointed!

Beginning Sock Class
If you've ever considered learning how to knit socks, this is a good time to try it out. Carina will be teaching a Beginning Sock Class starting May 1st from 10- noon. The class will run 5 consecutive Thursdays. The sock pattern used in the class will be provided. Class fee: $35
Don't forget, we give a 10% discount on supplies used in all of our classes. |
